Please stop hating Ms. Velasco. She was my prof before in a Marketing subject. She is really nice and a great prof as well! No originality. She just rips off whatever new song is in the market. What is worse is she takes out any edginess in the song, like Lady Gaga's, and churns out dumbed-down versions of the song. It's sad that this is the level of musicality that "artists" come up with these days.
She destroyed every song. Her covers have no attitude and emotions. So boring. Pang school or classroom intermission lng ang level. No originality and creativity. Just plan acoustic cover without blends of her own. She just record albums to sell and that's not the essence of being an artist. Because she knows that these songs are so hit today so she thought that making a cove of them, just like tyler ward is doing, would make her famous. If you want money, stop being an artist! PRINCESS, bago ka magrevive ng kanta, paki-intindihan ng maigi ang lyrics para alam mo kung paano sya iinterpret pag kinanta mo. kung hindi, isa kang malaking kahihiyan sa aming mga magaaral ng musika at pagkanta. atleast c aiza, kahit halos kapareho m sya ng genre, may laman ang mga kinakanta nya kc alam nya kung paano iinterpret HABANG kinakanta. mag isip ka ng mabuti ah, huwag pabulag sa pera.
Hay nako ginoo! Ikaw nanaman pala ang nagrevive ng Fireworks ni Katy Perry. Mahiya naman kayo--you, your crew, at mga kapwa mong revival morons. Last month lang ata sumikat yung song, pinagkakitaan niyo agad! Mga mukha talaga kayong pera. Dami dami niyo na, lahat ng pop stars ngayon puro revival. IF they did pay for the copyright (which I highly doubt) then good for you, go and make a thousand more revival CD's. They'll be 'hits' cos well...the original songs were hits and the poor masses with no taste will keep on loving them. Keep producing garbage and deteriorate the Philippine music industry. Gosh!
