Who is Julia Montes?
Julia Montes or Mara Montes Schnittka is a Filipino-German teen actress from the Philippines. She was born on the 19 of March, 1995. There are rumors circulating that she never met her father and that her mother has a special condition (deaf-mute). Despite of this, the young lady was raised well by her family.
Julia Montes started out as a child star with the screen name Mara Schnittka. Our sources points that she actually started her career with GMA-7 by appearing in the teleseries 'Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga' and her life story was featured in 'Magpakailanman'. She is a part of the kiddie cast of Goin'Bulilit and appeared in a number of shows of the Kapamilya network. Some of her projects include Hiram (playing Young Anne Curtis), I Love Betty La Fea (Young Ruffa Gutierrez) and Ligaw na Bulaklak (as Young Roxanne Guinoo).
She eventually changed her screen name to Julia Montes when she was chosen to play the role of 'Clara' in the new version of Mara Clara, the main antagonist originally played by Gladys Reyes.
