Who is Kathryn Bernardo?
Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo or more popularly known as Kathryn Bernardo in the Philippine entertainment scene is one of the fast-rising stars of ABS-CBN. Born on March 26, 1996 at Quezon City, she started out as a child actress playing the younger version of Bea Alonzo (It Might Be You), Andrea del Rosario (Gulong ng Palad), Shaina Magdayao (Komiks presents: Agua Bendita), Angelika dela Cruz (Prinsesa ng Banyera) and Maja Salvador (Pangarap na Bituin). She became a household name though as Maya, the kikay kid loveteam of Makisig Morales in Super Inggo.
As she enters the teen stage, Kathryn Bernardo was hired by GMA-7 to play the role of the young Marian Rivera in the Philippine adaptation of 'Endless Love', where she was paired with Kristopher King. She is also the young Gretchen Barretto in the fashionserye 'Magkaribal' of the Kapamilya network. Because of her natural acting prowess, she was chosen to play the role of 'Mara' in the remake of 'Mara Clara', which was originally played by Judy Ann Santos. It is the project that made Judy Ann Santos the young superstar and the teleserye queen the she is today.

Quest to Stardom
As of writing, Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes are making waves as Mara and Clara in ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida. They have a new shampoo endorsement and there's more under negotiation.
It was also revealed in an interview that Kathryn and Julia will star in their first full-length film together as lead stars. We will definitely watch out for it!
