Bea Alonzo is the lead star of the Philippine Version of Betty La Fea. Her real name is Eli Manning Flavio with a British father and Filipina mother. Born on October 17, 1987, the actress/singer is one of the in demand product endorsers in the Philippines.
Bea Alonzo was launched as one of ABS-CBN's newest teenstars in the afternoon tv show "K2BU" together with Angelene Aguilar, Pia Romero and Shaina Magdayao. Later on, she was casted in the popular drama show "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay" as Katrina Argos. She was paired with actor John Lloyd Cruz and since then, their tandem earned millions of fans all over the world.

Due to the overwhelming success of the John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo team-up, Star Cinema gave them their own launching movie via "My First Romance" (together with John Pratts and Heart Evangelista). The movie was a certified box office hit that's why ABS-CBN gave them their own soap opera "It Might Be You", followed by "Ikaw ang Lahat Sa Akin", "Maging Sino Ka Man" and "Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik". The tandem had a number of movies afterwards like Now that I Have You, All About Love, Close To You and One More Chance.
